Try Alpha
Alpha is a series of conversations that explore life, spirituality and faith in a fun, non-judgmental and open environment.
Alpha was designed for anyone who may be skeptical or curious, and for those with major doubts around faith. If you just want to talk about the real issues of life with new friends, this might be for you!
We start the Alpha journey with an Intro Night, which gives you a taste of what Alpha is like without committing to the course. Then you can decide if you will continue for the course.
The course will be hosted by Steve and Claire Bernard at their home in Pymble from Wed 15 May to Wed 3 July 2024.
What to expect
Each week on Alpha includes:
-

Connection
Each week starts with a meal together creating a chance to connect with each other, relax and build friendships.
-

Content
The Alpha talks are videos designed to inspire conversation. They explore the big issues of life and faith, addressing questions like “Who is Jesus?”, “Why and how do I pray?” and “How does God guide us?”
-

Conversation
One of the most important parts of any Alpha: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and discuss in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously).
Alpha
Alpha is for anyone interested in exploring questions of life and faith. Each week includes a time to connect, a talk, and a chance to share your thoughts and hear from others.
Length: 6 weeks
Dates will be provided once a new course becomes available.
