Gordon Baptist Church has commenced construction of new facilities at 1 Garden Square.

These works involve the renovation of the existing house, including two meeting spaces and upgraded amenities, together with the addition of a new multi-purpose hall with a capacity of 80 people. The hall opens onto and integrates with a new outdoor area suitable for social gatherings, community activities, and ministry events. The project also includes landscaping works and sustainability initiatives such as solar power generation and water retention and reuse systems.

This project represents an exciting opportunity for Gordon Baptist Church to enhance its facilities and expand the ways we can serve both our church family and the local community.

Giving to the Building Project

When we give to the Building Project, we are not simply contributing to bricks and mortar. We are investing in the vision, ministry, and lives of the many people who will be impacted through the use of these new facilities for years to come.

Thanks to the generosity of church members and supporters, significant progress has been made. Construction is well underway, with only the Juliette balcony remaining to be completed. The project now has approximately $1 million in outstanding loan funding, and we continue to seek support through donations and interest-free loans to help reduce this remaining amount.
